    Valentine's Fun! Party

    February 20, 2019 - 06:00 PM

    WSM Valentine's Party

    February 27, 2019 - 07:00 PM

  • Starting Point

Are you new to Westside and wondering what’s next? We want your first visit at Westside to be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience practical relevant teaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect as our guest.

    1. What's here for my kids?
At every service there are safe, clean, and highly-staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. On Sunday mornings for children three years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

    2. What Do I Wear?
While there is not a specific dress code at Westside, please consider this general guideline: On Sunday morning most of our guests and members are dressed in suits or business casual and during evening services the dress code is generally more casual. Our goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable as our guest!
    3. What is the format and length of the service?
Our 11:00am worship service includes music and is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Joe. The truths of the Bible are presented in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church. Each service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
  • Being engaged in church is about more than merely attending Sunday services.

We need the help of people who share our passion for leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. If you share that passion, you can fully engage in the life of the church by doing four things:

    Worship

    Worship God
Connect to God through biblical teaching and engaging worship.

    Connect

    Connect with others
Growing spiritually doesn’t happen when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we apply what He says. Application happens best within the context of community. To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally.

    Serve

    Serve God and others
Most of us want to make a difference. God calls us to serve one another. He has gifted each of us with a particular set of skills to impact and influence the lives of others through our local church. When you volunteer your time and talent at Westside, you help others to be growing followers of Christ. When you’re fully involved in the life of a church, God uses other people to help you grow, and He uses you to help grow other people.

    Reach

    Reach the world
Our church family reaches others for Christ through local, national, and international missions.
